Ashtanga Yoga is a form of asana in which a specific series of postures are practiced in a dynamic, flowing sequence that coordinates movement with gaze (drsti), breath (pranayama) and energetic locks (bandhas).

The Ashtanga system synthesises practices and perspectives from the eight (ashta) limbed (anga) path prescribed in Patanjali’s yoga sutras, and are woven together to form a seamless stream of form and awareness that you learn to carry with you on and off the mat.
